We celebrated Sarah and Jake's wedding at Cuneo Mansion with our Kickoff Band, Live DJ, and Photo Booth.
You might recognize this venue from the hit movie 'My Best Friend's Wedding,' but to a local, it's an elegant escape located about 30 miles outside of Chicago. The beautiful historic Cuneo Mansion captivates its guests with its Venetian-style architecture and bountiful garden acres.
Guests arrived for the cocktail hour on the terrace, where they were greeted with the delightful sounds of our jazz duo guitarist and vocalist. Serenaded by sweet songs from Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra, they enjoyed cocktails while overlooking the garden.
Sarah and Jake enjoyed the best of both worlds with our hybrid DJ-band combo, allowing them the flexibility to incorporate live music elements along with our interactive DJ who kept the party going all night. To add excitement, they danced between toasts during dinner. Sarah shared a dance with her father to 'The Way You Look Tonight' by Frank Sinatra, and Jake danced with his mother to 'Humble and Kind' by Tim McGraw. The night gradually built up, leading to the beautiful couple's first dance to 'Here on Out' by Dave Matthews Band, seamlessly transitioning into our live kickoff band that warmed up the dance floor before the DJ took over for the rest of the night.
This small but mighty 4-piece band had the entire crowd dancing to songs from Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Bruno Mars, and more! We even had a special treat when Sarah's brother joined our band to sing two songs, 'Lovely Day' by Bill Withers and 'Tennessee Whiskey' by Chris Stapleton, celebrating the newlyweds.
Additionally, we provided our Photo Booth service, complete with personalized touches. Our designer meticulously matched Sarah and Jake’s wedding logo, which was featured on their invitations, and customized the photo strip accordingly. Along with the photo strips, we offered a memory book where guests could insert their photo strips and write heartfelt notes to the couple, creating a cherished keepsake. In addition to photo strips, guests were also able to conveniently text and airdrop digital prints to themselves, ensuring that the memories of this special day could be easily shared and treasured on social media!
As the kickoff band came to an end, DJ Drew led the crowd into endless fun that had everyone on the dance floor until the night concluded.
